Q.Explain how the expansion of Islam created a global (minus Americas) trading network?

- Make specific refs to trading zones/ citites/ ideals/ methods of spread of technology
The expansion of Islam created a global trading network by combining all trade routes together, to kind of make one big trading circle. With Islam being in so many parts of the world, Europe, Africa, Asia, Southeast Asia, all trades were combined. With the spread of Islam in India, the Arabians and Indians trading had become stronger, because of the convertions of the traders and merchants converting to Islam. Also, with the spread of Islam, a trading route, that had been closed off, because of the decline of the Han and the Roman empire, the Eurasian trading network re-opened. Technology also had started to improve, with the Islamic people taking the Indians and Greeks ideas and just improving them and expanding them, such as geometry, science, astronomy, and medical care too. The dhows also helped with trading, because they were trading vessels.
